Obituary of Christine Thompson
Thompson, Christine, Age 75, of Roseville passed away on June 28, 2024, completing a life of caring and service. She was a United States Navy veteran (Vietnam era), loving wife and mother, caregiver to her parents, church secretary and administrator for three churches, executive assistant at the U of M School of Dentistry, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Bundles of Love, St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center, and several churches. She loved her family and friends. She loved to bake, garden, and crochet. She loved to support and cheer on her grandsons. She loved making a difference in the world by helping others. In her own words, “I have been blessed in my life by my God with a loving family, friends, and my church. My life is complete. My wish for each of you is God’s peace.”
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters. She is survived by her sister, Teresa, son Stan (Bev), grandsons Jack and Gunnar and many more family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 1660 Cty Rd B W, Roseville with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bundles of Love (www.bundlesoflove.org) or St. Michael’s Lutheran Church (www.stmichaelselca.com).
