Jacqueline Lois Bertrand (Dressely)
Born on June 10, 1942, and passed away on July 4, 2024, at the young age of 82. Jackie grew up in St. Paul Minnesota, in the West Seventh area. She married her husband, Robert Bertrand in the summer 1959. They started their family of four in St. Paul MN, in 1969 they moved to Lino Lakes and raised their family there for 13 years. They moved back to St. Paul on the very block Jackie grew up on, and lived there for 26 years. Jackie moved to Chisago City Minnesota where she passed away from Asbestos related Lung Cancer, she was surrounded by her whole family. Jackie was a loving mother, and a grandmother who loved to cook (especially spaghetti). She had a generous heart. She enjoyed hosting parties, picnics, holidays and bringing everyone together with her special recipes she made. Jackie was devoted to family, and was always interested in knowing what was going on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and extended family. Jackie was very tech savvy for her age. She never missed a beat to send a birthday text to her grandchildren or place an on-line order with Amazon or look up on Pinterest a special recipe or a craft idea. She loved to FaceTime with all. She loved to get a manicure and pedicure. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her furry friends who knew she always had a cookie to share.
Survived by her daughters, Robyn (Greg) Wandschneider, Lori (Carlos) Cabalar, Kelly (Chuck) Wilke, and son Robert Bertrand. Grandchildren -Jami Degnan(Eric Hoven), Chad (Sara) Wandschneider, Madyson Wilke, Connor Wilke(Hannah Stec), Winter Bertrand(Jesse Williams) and Cordel Bertrand. Great Grandchildren - Jacqueline Degnan; Coen and Kane Wandschneider, Colin and Levi Hoven, Bodie Wilke. Brothers and Sisters - Barb(Ron)Adams, Judi Booren, Dick(Sherrie)Dressely, Shelly(Paul)Pream, Jim(Debbie)Dressely. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bert. Her parents Florence and Frank Dressely, Brothers; Bobby, Frank, and Earl Dressely. Sisters; Darlene Conlin, and Margi Burton.
Jackie’s wishes were to be cremated with a private celebration of life to be held at a later date.
