Obituary of Brian J Beltrand

Brian J. Beltrand, age 65, of Crystal MN passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 23rd 2024 after years of unfortunate health problems.

Brian was born in Princeton MN on March 7th 1959 to Elmer and Lorraine Beltrand.

He grew up in Dayton MN and graduated from Elk River High School. 

Brian formed many relationships and memories with family and friends in Dayton, enjoyed playing sports like hockey and football through grade school, and always kept his hometown close to his heart.

Brian got much fulfillment from being outdoors and in nature.  He loved bow-hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and kayaking, among other activities.

Most of his career he worked in sales, which he had a passion and a knack for.

Brian will be remembered for his good heart, spirit, humor, and ability to start up a conversation with almost anyone.

He is survived by son Dustin, brothers Duane (Peggy), Glen (Donna), Dwight (Jan), sisters Lanay (Jerry) Brostrom, Mary Sue (Dale) Bistodeau, Sandra (John) Duerr, Jody (Jeff) Kurowski, and Darcy Brisbin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Also of note: Brian’s former wife and mother of Dustin, Laurie Beltrand.

He is preceded in death by parents Elmer and Lorraine Beltrand, as well as brothers Steve and Donald (George).

Visitation starts at 10:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m. with burial and luncheon to follow.
