Obituary of Gene Alan Bratsch
Gene Alan Bratsch, 87, of Minnetonka, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024. He is survived by wife, Marilyn; sons, Peter (Sue) Bratsch, Chris Bratsch; daughter, Ruthi Landaeta (Carlos); sister, Mary Dwyer. Also survived by grandchildren, Amanda Bratsch, Alyssa Bratsch, Angie Bratsch, Jackson Bratsch, Maggie Bratsch, Lucy Landaeta (Steven), Molly Landaeta and Bella Landaeta. He is also survived by stepsons, Brad Brecht (Tennille) and Chris (Shana) Brecht; step-grandsons, Matt, Tony, and Hunter and five step great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Hayden, Mavrik, Hadley and Ariella. He is also survived by nephews, Mike, Ben and Andrew and families. Special friend, Suzy Bratsch and many cousins.
Gene was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Alma Bratsch; brother David Bratsch; wife, Lois, and step great grandson, Maddox.
Gene is best described as a strong but gentle guy with a giant love for family, sports (especially the Twins!) and music. In fact, please feel free to wear your Twins shirt or jersey to his celebration of life.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Rd 101, Maple Grove. Service at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior. Interment and lunch to follow at church.
