Obituary of John Lee Weber
John Lee Weber, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20th, 2024. He was born on September 2nd, 1942 in St. Paul, Minnesota. John attended and graduated from Saint Agnes and was a devout Catholic and Christian. He served in the army from 1960-1963 as a military police officer. Afterwards, he owned his own business “Weber Bros Decorating” where he completed painting and remodel jobs. John then went on to own two bars; The Family Inn (1972-2007) and The Beehive (1975-2017). John married his wife Joan Weber in 1995. He spent many years enjoying time with family, friends, being at the lake, fishing, taking trips to the casino, and was the first to request cheeseburgers and fries for any occasion. He was a hard worker, had a priceless sense of humor, cared for his family members deeply, and was loved by many.
John is proceeded in death by his parents Lucy and Arthur Weber; brothers Arthur, Richard, Jim, and Donny Weber; sister Marleen Brickley; sister-in-law Chick Weber; grandson Michael Sherrick; and granddaughter-in-law Angela Sherrick.
He is survived by his wife Joan Weber; children Dan (Cassie) Rogers, John (Tracey) Weber, Rick (Juli) Weber, Lisa Chavez, and Terrie (Brian) Sherrick; brothers Bob and Tom (Phyllis) Weber; and many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as close friends and loved ones.
A service will be held at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater RD, Mahtomedi, MN, on July 25th at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation one hour prior and a luncheon to follow.
