Obituary of Jeanne Marion Lee
Jeanne Marion Lee quietly passed away at the age of 80 on June 19, 2024 in the presence of loved ones.
Jeanne was preceded in death by husband Gene Lee, daughter Jennifer Lee, parents Clarence and Adeline Koltes.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Jerry Haider, as well as her beloved daughters and their spouses, Jolyann Lee-Brockhoff (Brian) and Jessica Hoff (Ron), five grandchildren and their spouses, Jesse (Mallorie), Darron (Kat), Jonas (Marissa), Jacob (Shaundra), and Brandon (Nicole), and three great-grandchildren, Adeline Rose, Ava Jennifer, and Moses Amadeus. She is also survived by her six siblings and their spouses, John Koltes (Shirley), Linda Neaton (Jim), Susan Hoffman, Steve Koltes (Kay), Chuck Koltes (Deb), and Anna Gantner (Craig), and their loving families.
Jeanne was our family’s rock. She was our strength in times of weakness and our calm in times of distress. Jeanne was the one who stepped forward to ask how she could help without hesitation or expectations. She cared for those around her with fierce loyalty and demonstrated a firm, steady confidence when situations arose where others needed a foundation of support. If anyone looked for a rock to lean on, Jeanne was there.
Raising three young girls alone is, of course, challenging, and filling the dual roles of both mother and father is enough of a challenge for most, but doing so while at the same time going to college and working a full-time job can break many well-intentioned individuals. Instead, Jeanne stood tall, faced the challenge head-on, and became the example we can all look to for inspiration in the face of our own obstacles. Again, Jeanne was the rock.
Now it is our time to be the rock for each other and carry on her example. It is our time to lean upon loved ones when we need support, while allowing them to do the same.
Jeanne, we love you with all our hearts and pledge to continue your legacy of strength, compassion, and love.
At her request, service and burial will be private.
