Obituary of Jody Morgan Kieffer

Jody Morgan Kieffer began blessing this world with her presence on a hot, August Friday. Starting in her childhood home in Minneapolis’ southside, Jody would grow to bring immeasurable joy and light into the lives of those she knew with her kindness, loving spirit, and endless generosity. Jody was often an additional auntie or stand-in mother to many in need who grew up in her neighborhood.

Jody was a quick-witted, independent thinker who sought the truth and stood by that truth once she had found it. Jody’s sense of humor, her laughter, and her beautiful smile were infectious and could brighten even the darkest of days. Jody meant so much to so many people.

With her passing on Friday, May 31, 2024, Jody leaves a legacy of beauty, grace, and compassion. The depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts and will be echoed in the words we speak in remembrance of her.
