Obituary of Kerry Michael Crosbie
Kerry Michael Crosbie, 72, of Coon Rapids, peacefully passed away on June 11th 2024 from Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Kerry was born in Anoka, Minnesota to Thomas and Marian Crosbie on November 27th, 1951. He was the third of six children. He went to school in Anoka, Minnesota and attended Anoka High School until deciding to join the Army in 1968. He was a veteran who served in Vietnam. He married Sharrolynne on May 19th, 1973 in Litchfield, Minnesota. That is where they began their life together and started their family. He worked as a welder for Hoffman Engineering in Anoka for many years and most recently as a school bus driver and mechanic for Kottkes Bus Service in Andover.
He truly loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping and being with family and friends. He was happy to entertain you by singing while playing the guitar or piano which he taught himself. He couldn't just sit and relax. He was always fixing up or tinkering with the house or a car. If he wasn't keeping busy with something, he was showing off his skills of “resting his eyes”. He fiercely loved his family and would do anything for them. He had a strong Christian faith which helped him through many wonderful and difficult times.
Kerry is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Marian Crosbie.
Kerry is survived by his wife of 52 beautiful years, Sharrolynne, his children, Jason (Nicole) Crosbie, Jamie (Jaci) Crosbie, Heidi (Adam) Waldack and Jennifer Crosbie. Siblings David (Nellie Blonigen) Crosbie, Kenneth (Alice) Crosbie, Karen (David) Larson, Roger (Mary) Crosbie, Ramona (Lane) Walker.
