Obituary of Louise Marie Davis-Myles
Louise Marie Davis-Myles, 61, of Minneapolis, MN , died in May 2024
She was born March 8, 1963 in Saint Paul, MN to TJ and Aurora Davis(Arellano.) She was the third of five siblings. She attended Highland Park High School in Saint Paul,MN graduating in 1981. She went back to school later in life, graduating from Minneapolis Community and Technical College in 2015 with a degree in Human Services and Community Work. She worked several jobs including at Control Data Computers, and the Wilder Foundation.
She was previously Married to Leo Myles of Saint Paul, MN and they had two children, Denario Davis and Veva Myles. Leo Passed in 1998. In 2004, She met Richard Young. She said the islamic rites of marriage with Richard, and he was her companion for the rest of her life.
Louise had a passion for the community she lived in, and was always seen as a pillar in the neighborhood. Wherever she lived, she was always sought out for advice and support and she always wanted to make sure that kids were taken care of. Though never a woman of wealth, she did her best to support her family and her friends as best as she could. Most importantly she loved her family, deeply and passionately, and she was beloved by her family as well.
Louise was predeceased by her beloved father TJ Davis, and her first husband Leo Daniel Myles. She is survived by her mother, Aurora Frelix, and her children, Denario Davis (Angela) of River Falls, WI and Veva Myles of Saint Paul, MN. She is also survived by her grandchildren Zaniya, Sarae, Jakai and Denario Jr and great grandchildren Ni’yanna, Je’layah and Jayden. She is also survived by her siblings Leonardo Davis, Rafael Davis, William Davis and Alicia Ogunyemi. Louise is also survived by many Nieces, nephews, family and friends.

New Hope Baptist Church

Visitation at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery
