Robenia Hudson was born as a twin-daughter to Frederick and Emma Hudson on May 11, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA. Her childhood years were spent in Browns Mills, NJ and she graduated from Pemberton High School in 1952.
Robenia was united in marriage to Manley Harold Williams on August 27, 1955, in Browns Mills, NJ. The couple made their home in the Eagan and Burnsville, MN area and were charter members of Peace Reformed Church, Eagan. To this union, four children were born.
After moving to MN, Beanie worked in a bank until her first child was born. She loved being a homemaker to her family and babysat in her home. Later, she returned to work at a nearby nursing home where she enjoyed the company of her coworkers and residents until she retired. The couple relocated to an Alexandria lakeshore home where they spent many years. After the passing of her husband, she spent time in a townhome before moving to Bethany and Nelson Gables assisted living communities. In July 2021, she relocated to the Masonic Home Care Center in Bloomington, where she went peacefully to her heavenly home surrounded by loved ones, April 2, 2024 at the age of 89, six weeks shy of her 90th birthday.
Beanie’s love was electrifying and was felt by everyone she touched bringing smiles to their faces. She was outgoing, friendly, fun and often described as “one of a kind.” For years she was a Boy Scout Den Mother for her two oldest sons. She loved Jesus, singing, crafting, bingo and being involved in her church including teaching Sunday School and VBS for many years. Among her greatest joys were the caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing games, going on outings, birthday calls, and supporting their activities. Every moment spent with them was special.
Beanie is survived by her children Gary (Jayne) Williams of Minnetonka, MN, Gerald (Karen) Williams of Lakeville, MN, Vicki (Bob) Willats of Orchard, NE, and Greg (JoAnne) Williams of Vernon Hills, IL. Her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren are Kelly Williams, Erik (Kyla Flaten) Williams and sons, Remy and Jude, Ryan (Nikki) Williams and sons Parker and Bennie, Casey Williams, Willie (Hannah) Willats, Calvin (Brenna) Willats, Shane Willats, Kirby (Shonna) Willats, Alyssa (Ryan) Kay, Trey (Kelley) Williams and son Cade, Lara Williams(fiancé Bryan Sobin), Maiya (Elliot) Amenta and daughter, Brynlee and son, Jace. Also surviving is sister Elizabeth Morin of Jobstown, NJ and sister-in-law Verna Scheldorf of Ottertail, MN, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
