Obituary of Marlene Behning

Marlene Behning, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, died May 26, 2024, from complications of Lewy Body Dementia, in Eagan, MN.

Marlene was born July 8, 1949, in Minneapolis, MN to Kenneth and Vivian Anderson. She grew up in northeast Minneapolis and was a graduate of Edison High School in 1967. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1971 and earned her master's degree in 1977 both from the University of Minnesota.

She taught Elementary education from 1972 until 1980.  You could often find her working in her gardens. 

She is survived by loving husband of 48 years Baron Behning; daughters Kelly Canaan and Alison Tran; grandchildren Gabriel Canaan, Evan Canaan, Jackson Tran, and Calvin Tran.
