Obituary of Timothy Burton Engebretson

Timothy Burton Engebretson was born on November 27 1956, Son of Burton and Linda Engebretson. He grew up in Moundsview MN with his siblings Daniel, Suzette, Cheryl, Patricia, and Pamela; along with his uncle Ricky who was like a brother. Tim married Shelly DeGroat, they had their beautiful 10lb 1oz baby girl Angela, then Tim decided to join the army to provide a better life for his family. Soon after they welcomed their chubby cheeked baby boy Anthony. Even though they separated they remained close through the years. Tim also had extended children Arlyss, Ashley, Alyssa and Airianna. Tim loved them all equally as his own. Tim was proud to be a dad, more proud when he became a grandfather to Alejandra, Antulio, Adriana; and also his extended grand children Aaron, Joshua, Jayshawn, Amiah, Peyton, Ayden and Jaelynn. He was even more proud when he became a great grand father to both Alaia and Ivan. He was excited when he first found out his oldest granddaughter was expecting, he was going to be a great grandpa. His biggest wish was that she would be born on his birthday, and his wish came true.They will always share that special day. Tim was also an adoring uncle to many nieces and nephews, he loved them very much.

Tim was a hard worker, a jack of all trades; he spent many years doing carpentry work. He was a family man, who loved his family with everything he had. He was a kind, gentle soul. Tim was a man that would often put others needs before himself. In recent years he’s spent a lot of time making memories with family, holidays, bbqs, going out for pizza. He also spent a lot of time on his new hobby, building different wood models, a car and train were his most recent models he was working on.

Tim is preceeded in death by his grand parents, his parents Burton and Linda, his sister Susette, his brother Daniel, his uncle Ricky and many other aunts and uncles. Tim is survived by his sisters Cheryl, Patricia and Pamela. His children Angela (Cory), Anthony along with his extended children. His grandchildren Alejandra, Antulio, Adriana along with his extended grandchildren. His great grandchildren Alaia and Ivan. His nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Tim is loved by many and will be missed forever!
