Obituary of Harriet Elizabeth Busdicker

Harriet Elizabeth Busdicker (Misfeldt), age 90 of Edina, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on May 9, 2024.

Preceded in death by her Parents, Dale and Gladys Misfeldt; Brother, Jonathan Misfeldt, and Daughter Alison Brown.

Survived by her Brother, Michael (Mona) Misfeldt; Daughters, Karla (Jerry) Sitek and Pam (Todd) Dionne; son in law, Jim Brown; Grandchildren, Matt (Kat), Alex (Chelsea), Ellie (Mike), Maggie (Mike), Ben (Laura), Katie (Garrison), Molly (Jack), Nick, Jon (Dylan), Abby; and 7 (soon to be 9) Great Grandchildren, Samantha, James, Jacob, Harriet, Brooks, Hallie, Elena, and 2 more to arrive soon.

Harriet remained close to her Hamline University roommates throughout her life. They saw love and loss together and traveled the world. 

She spent the last 4 years at Brookdale Senior Living. She lived independently with her cat Emma.  She loved her apartment, made many new friends and enjoyed her life.

Harriet left this world as her family’s champion. She saw the best and worst of the world and never lost her tender-heartedness. As the Matriarch of her family, she created and held together ever-growing generations. Harriet's 90 years is impossible to sum up in just one page. She was so full of life and loved her family and friends fiercely. 

She will be greatly missed, the world is a better place because she was in it. 

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 28, with a visitation one hour prior at 10am, located at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435.
