Obituary of JoAnn R. Fannin
JoAnn (Jo) Fannin (nee Aldershof) 85 of Ottumwa Iowa and St. Paul, MN passed away peacefully in her sleep with her care team at her side supporting her transition after her long battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease on May 4.
She was survived by her children Robert Michael Reedquist (Karon), Margaret Ann Clark (David), Jennifer Ann Reedquist (Sherece), and her granddaughter McKenna Margaret Rae Reedquist. Also survived by her sisters Patsy Wolfe, Barb Reasoner and sister in-law Barb Hawley and was proceeded in death by her mother Mimmie Marie Hawley, her father Hans Peter Aldershof, her brother David Hawley and grandmother she adored Hilda Amelia Johnson and her beloved Waldo.
JoAnn proudly obtained her Master’s degree in the Theology from Harvard University School of Divinity after years of service in the development of the Minneapolis Institute of Art, The Science Museum of Minnesota and the Regis Corporation.
JoAnn has requested no memorial ceremony be held on her behalf, and charitable donations in memoriam to the Alzheimer's Association.
