Obituary of Ancil L. Anderson

Ancil L. Anderson, age 91, of Bloomington, formerly of Richfield, MN, passed away on May 8, 2016. Ancil was a veteran of WWII, serving in the 401st Bomb Group as a Ball Turret Gunner on a B17. Preceded in death by wife, Helen; parents, O. Alfred and Florence Anderson and two brothers. Survived by daughter, Valerie; son, Jeffrey (Julie); granddaughters, Marne and Mallory. Graveside service at 10:45 a.m., on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
