Obituary of Steven George Leese

Steven George Leese (September 17th, 1952) was called home on the night of April 24th, 2024. His legacy of love, faith, humility, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him.

Many will remember Steve for his abiding faith in God, sense of humor, exceptional work ethic, devotion to family, and boundless energy for adventures.  He loved the outdoors and couldn't get enough of taking in the wonders of God's beautiful Earth. 

His family encourages you to cherish every moment with those you love. 

Steve is survived by his sons, Jared (Elizabeth Kratochwill) Leese and Jordan (Rose) Leese; grandchildren Marguerite, Dashiell, Morgan, Magnus, and Illyana; siblings Tim (Sandy) Leese and Patty (Dan) Muzzy; numerous nieces and nephews; and hundreds of people on whom he left a positive, lasting impression.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 13th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota (1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119) . Those who knew Steve are invited to join in commemorating his legacy. Nothing would bring his memory more joy than friends and family gathering together.
