Obituary of Donald Leo Anderson

Donald Leo Anderson passed away March 6th 2024 at the age of 79. He is survived by daughter Amber, son Steven and his grandson Leo. He is also survived by partner Merlin Hill and her family.

For over 30 years, Don dedicated himself to the service of others at Hennepin County Family Court and Probation Services. He touched countless lives with his compassion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the community he served. Additionally, Don supervised volunteers in his field of work, guiding and inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to their shared mission.

A master storyteller, he wove tales of a life richly lived captivating listeners with wisdom gleaned from his experiences. He loved good food and music which added vibrancy to his days and stories. Don leaves behind cherished memories for all that knew him.

In honoring his memory, let us celebrate the extraordinary life of Don. Memorial service will be held on Sun. May 19th at Cremation Society of Edina 952-232-5777 1:30pm visitation 2:00pm memorial service. A reception will follow 4:30 at The Black Forest Inn 1 East 26th St. Mpls., Mn. 55404
