Obituary of Rudolph J Ripple Jr. MD

Rudolph J. Ripple Jr. MD was born in Flint, MI to Rudolph J. Ripple Sr. MD and Amy (Schweigert) Ripple and at the age of 95 passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024.

Rudy was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Rudy graduated Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, was a member of the Fellow of the American College of Medicine (FACM) and practiced Internal Medicine for over 40 years until his retirement in 1996.

Rudy was the beloved husband of the late Mary (McNally) Ripple; loving father to his children Michael (Kate) Ripple, Nancy (Jim) Murray, Jim (Cindy) Ripple, Dyan (Kelly) Westman and Steve (Teresa) Ripple; cherished grandfather of 13; great-grandfather of 7; dear brother of the late Jane Chamberlain and infant brother Johnny and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick’s Lane, Edina, MN. Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass.

Private interment will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
