Obituary of Alexander Lloyd Wagner

It is with tremendous sadness that I announce the passing of my first born, and only son, Alexander.  

Alex was a brilliant, beautiful boy who will be deeply missed by all of us. In Alex’s sudden death I’ve searched for answers to help us cope and all that I keep coming back to is his deep love and compassion for others. He always wanted to bring the homeless to our home, or help the child being bullied. He always felt things very deeply and with a sensitivity that was often too much for his beautiful mind to comprehend. He was a walking dictionary of large words that I admit I’d have to look up the meaning of half the time. He enjoyed music, art and writing. He was drawn to technology and could code and build his own computer by the time he was in middle school.  

He was an honor student and competed in Future Problem-Solving competitions. In one of those competitions, he won first place for his impromptu skit on Gandhi using this quote: 

“Tolerance is giving to every other human being every right you claim for yourself - Robert Ingersoll.” 

He went by many nicknames Alex P Keaton, Uggie, Zander Man, but he will always be my baby boy.  

Alex is survived by his loving mother, Janelle Langhoff; his little sisters, Ava Langhoff and Mia Bergstrom whom he loved and protected; grandparents, Diane Jackson, Thomas Jackson and Kay Wagner; uncle, Jason (Nickolle) Langhoff; aunties, Keleigh Jackson, Renae Lindemoen, and Liz Wagner; and his first best friends and cousins, Allison Langhoff, Zauis Langhoff and Sophia Langhoff.  

Preceded in death by his precious great grandmother, Elsie Langhoff; great grandfather, Gordon Langhoff; and grandfather, Lloyd Wagner.  

In Alex’s own words I leave you with, “I love the person reading, I love you – Alex.”
