Obituary of Paul A Allen

Paul A. Allen passed to his heavenly home April 10, 2024. Born March 31, 1932, he had just celebrated his 92nd birthday with family, friends, and loved ones. He is survived by his wife Janet of 69 devoted years. They were blessed with 3 sons: William Paul Allen (deceased), Robert D Allen and wife Kristie of Minnetonka, MN, and Benny L Allen and wife Mandy of Riesel, TX. Paul is survived by eight grandchildren: Bradley Allen and wife Christy of Kathleen, GA, Rebecca Martinez of Midland, TX, Rylee Horton and wife Macy of Riesel, TX, Branson Allen of Azle, TX, Gillian Epperson of Cleburne, TX, Tyler Allen and wife Karena of Minot, ND, Raynee Allen of College Station, TX, and Tyson Allen of Minnetonka, MN. Paul is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren: Autumn, Nathan, Jordan, Saydee, Kallie, Benny Wayne, and Mason.

Paul graduated from Hico High School where he played all sports. He served 4 years in the Air Force as a machinist and then continued as a machinist for Santa Fe Railroad for 20+ years. After retirement he moved back to the Hico area where he served as President of the Civic Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Hico EMS. He was a Past Master of the Hico Masonic Lodge, member of Stephenville Order of Eastern Star, and member of Higher Masonic Bodies for over 60 years. Since moving to Minnesota, he was a member of the Excelsior Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star.
