Obituary of Helen F. E. Warren

Helen F. E. Warren, 81, lifelong resident of the Duluth, Minn. area, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born Aug. 17, 1934 in Duluth to Thomas and Selma Spencer. Helen was a 1952 graduate of Brookston High School, and on August 15, 1953, she married Philip A. Warren. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and excellent homemaker. She retired as the Office Manager of the St. Luke's Physicians Emergency Services Dept. Helen was preceded in death by her son Jeff; her parents; and brother Donald Spencer. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Phil; three grandchildren, Amie Lynn Warren of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Thomas Spencer Warren and Kara Marie Warren, both of Duluth; twin sisters Mavis Russell and Marjorie Burke, both of Duluth; and many extended family members and friends who were all special to her.
