Obituary of Kenneth Winston Danielson

Kenneth (Ken) Winston Danielson, loving father and husband.

Kenneth W. Danielson, 95, passed on March 23, 2024, at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, MN. 

He was born in Minneapolis on September 21, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN, to Leonard and Ida (Bjorge) Danielson, the second of 5 children. Ken enlisted in the Army in June 1946 and was stationed in England and Italy. He was Honorably Discharged in May 1949 as Corporal and received the WWII Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal. After serving, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from  Hamline University. 

He was married to Marilyn Lorraine Johnson on May 31, 1952 and is survived by their 4 children: Sandra, Laura (Dennis) Miller, Karen (Thomas) Niedzielski and John (Karla Skovholt), 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (March 28, 1931-March 17, 2019), and his siblings June Johnson, Curt, Roger and Mary Lou Andresen. 

Ken will be interred at Ft. Snelling and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
