Obituary of Kelly G. Buchanan

Kelly G. Buchanan (64) passed away on March 23, 2024, in Minneapolis, MN. Kelly was a wonderful father and an avid outdoorsman. He loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing, deer hunting, gardening, or just roaming the forest. He was also very handy and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed working with his hands and creating was a passion of his. He also had an undeniable love for music, which he passed down to his children. He enjoyed endless jam sessions with his friends and brothers. He is survived by his children, Jamie (Nate) Rost, Justin (Janai) Buchanan; granddaughters Abbie, Khloe, and Kinlee; brothers, Steve and Blair; sisters, Michele (Hal) Cooke, Mary Buchanan; many nieces and nephews, their children; his extended family, and many dear friends. Kelly was preceded in death by parents Wally and Marguerite, and brothers Pat, Tim, and Sean. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, at the Knights of Columbus at 1114 American Boulevard, Bloomington, MN. Visitation at 11:00AM with memorial service at 12:00PM.
