Obituary of Gerald Edward Osiecki

Gerald (Gary) Edward Osiecki age 79 of Aitkin, MN passed away on 3/30/24.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother Edward and Anna, sister Judith.

Gary is survived by his wife Barbara, sister Cathy Paige (Tim), sons Mike (Candace), Tyler (Kris) and Dan (Jennifer) along with grand children Trey, Taylor, Ethan, Kayla, Alyssa and Liam.

Gary was born in Minneapolis, MN and early on he went to Catholic school and graduated from Fridley High School, after high school, he went into the Navy. Gary worked at Electric Machinery as a Millwright for 32 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, lawn mowing, playing cribbage, sitting around the campfire and telling his stories. Gary was the Ross Lake township supervisor; he served as a commander at the Aitkin VFW. He spent time at the Aitkin American Legion and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. His love of buying tools found him tinkering, modifying and fixing things around his shop.

Gary will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday April 15, 2024 with visitation at 10am, service starting at 11am and a luncheon to follow at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina.
