Obituary of Lesbia Justiniano

 

Lesbia “Les” Justiniano was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico and peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at the age of 90, on March 21st, 2024, at the Minnesota VA Home.

Les was married for 63 years to Juan (Tony) Justiniano, her beloved husband, lifelong companion and hometown sweetheart. She migrated to New York City and worked as a key punch operator at NBC studios and Lehman Brothers. Les and Juan relocated to Minnesota in 2004 after 10 years in St Cloud, FL. Les was a devoted mother who enjoyed laughing, cooking, blowing kisses and singing classical Puerto Rican songs from her youth. Les was a volunteer for many years at the Vista Program for the Aging in Kissimmee FL. She will be greatly missed for her contagious smile, tender heart and kindness.

Les is survived by her sons and their spouses; Tony (Claire), Al (Silvia) and grandchildren; Gabriella, Spencer (Ed Snyder).

A very special thank you to the Minnesota Veterans Home nursing staff and ancillary staff, for their steadfast and loving care from Aug 2018 through her final hours. A heartfelt thank you to Grace Hospice for their support, care and guidance during the bereavement process.

A celebration of life will be held at the Minneapolis VA Home, on April 13th from 9:30 am to 11 am.

A burial will be held at her hometown cemetery.

May she rest in peace with the Lord and her beloved husband.
