Obituary of Walter John Maceo

Walter John Maceo, of Bloomington, MN passed away March 5, 2024 at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by parents Godwall and Teresita, and wife Lucy DeCosse. 

As a child, Walt and his parents fled Cuba in the early 1960’s, despite his father’s attempt to fight against the Castro regime. Eventually, they built a life in Minnesota where Walt grew up as an only child. A skilled carpenter, Walt worked with his hands most of his life and took pride in his creations. 

Walt is survived by daughter Alyson Strand of Madison, WI.
