Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Kangas

Kangas, Mary Elizabeth 

 Age 84 of Cedar, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024. 

Mary was born to George and Clarice Bock on September 17, 1939.  She graduated from Robbinsdale Senior High. Mary married Norman Kangas in 1958 and they began their family in New Hope MN. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, anything outdoors. She bred American Water Spaniels and was very involved in the American Water Spaniel Club. 

Preceded in death by husband, Norman; daughter, Adrienne and her parents. 

She will be dearly missed by her surviving children, Terri Blandford (Chris), Dianne (Bob) Cederberg, David Kangas (Camille) and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy (Bruce) Pedersen and George "Bud" (Kathy) Bock. 

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11th with visitation at 1:00 PM and Service at 2:00 PM at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park MN.
