Jean was born in Minneapolis of parents who migrated from Sweden. She married husband Harris on December 26, 1942. They were members of Hope Church, Richfield. Jean volunteered her services in the nursery and church office as well as sewed baby clothes and blankets for Hope’s outreach ministries to new mothers and infants.
Jean treasured her time crafting beautiful works of art which came to life through embroidery, crocheting, knitting and counted cross-stitch. Many of her lovely items were gifted or sold at her craft sales.
After the death of her husband, Jean lived at Mainstreet Village for Seniors, Richfield for just over 21 years and most recently received hospice services while residing at Martin Luther Care Center, Bloomington. The family would like to thank the staff of Moments Hospice, Martin Luther Care Center and Hope Church for the kind and loving care she received.
A private family interment and Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
