Obituary of Mark Eugene Bowman

June 11, 1962 – March 17, 2024 

Age 61 of Burnsville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 17, 2024.   Preceded in death by his parents Leatrice and Eugene Bowman, and brother Linden. Survived by his wife Anecita and brothers Tim (Karen), David, Troy (Mollie), and Terry (Kerry) along with many nieces and nephews.  

Mark attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis and was a youth pastor at Mount Olivet in Apple Valley, MN during his younger years. He then spent time in Alaska doing home construction prior to his 30-year career at MSP airport.  

Mark met the love of his life, Anecita and they enjoyed 15 years of marriage and many wonderful trips together.   He was heartily welcomed into the family, and he developed a great appreciation of the Filipino culture and the friendships that accompanied it.      

Mark enjoyed bringing people together and often was the planner of group trips…camping, biking, vacations, etc. We will all miss his generous nature and unique sense of humor.  

We would like to thank the staff at the University of Minnesota hospital ICU for the loving care and attention they gave to Mark. We are deeply touched by the amount of staff support that we received as a family during this difficult time.     

Funeral service 4:30 PM Saturday, March 30th with visitation at 3:30PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7100 France Avenue, Edina. Memorials preferred to Anecita Bowman.
