Since I was six years old, I have loved, and received much love from, your family. Ellie and Jerry were second mom and dad, always showing love and great compassion towards my family. Both of them were quick to hug and erupt into a smile. In later years, Ellie and I would laugh, hug, and reminisce every time we saw each other. She always asked about my parents and my sister. When she laughed, her whole face joined in. She was a teenager her whole lifetime. At family events, she welcomed me with huge smiles and big hugs. Karen, Lynn, Brad, and Katy -- I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom and grandma. She has left an indelible imprint on many lives, including mine.
