Obituary of Hazel Juliet Longren

Hazel Juliet Longren passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on May 31, 1934, in Minneapolis.  Hazel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a selfless lady who will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Juliet Berglund, and her loving husband of 49 years, Dennis Longren.

Hazel is survived by her children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Hazel was an avid gardener spending as much time in her gardens as she could.  She loved to entertain, especially having family over for holidays and birthday celebrations.  She and Dennis also enjoyed lots of traveling to many countries and states.

Special thanks to the loving staff at The Birches at Trillium Woods. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 11th at 12:30pm at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel followed by a reception and private interment. In lieu of flowers or memorials, to honor her, we ask that you spend extra time together with your loved ones.
