Obituary of Claudia Gwen Pollard

August 1, 1955 - March 4, 2024 Claudia died unexpectedly from natural causes on March 4, 2024. She was born August 1, 1955 in Rochester, Minnesota. Her parents were Dr. William Pollard and Gwendolyn Smith Pollard, now deceased.

Claudia was a smart and fun loving girl who attended Duluth East High School and University of Wisconsin Madison. Throughout her life she surrounded herself with art, antiques and music. She was an avid reader and loved books.

She lived in Manhattan, New York City for twenty years before returning to Duluth where she lived until her death. Here she resided with her favorite black lab, Lulu and Siamese cat, Cameo.

She is survived by her five siblings, Linda Nelson, Heather Pollard, Bill Pollard, Laurel Davis and Bert Pollard, nephews John Nelson, Corey Pollard, Nathan Pollard, Josh Pollard and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

A family gathering will be held at a later date to scatter her ashes.
