Obituary of Carol Ann Plummer
Carol Ann Plummer, 86 of Superior, WI, passed away March 2, 2024 in Superior, WI. with her family by her side.
Carol was born in Duluth on April 11, 1937 the daughter of Gerald and Linnea Balduc. She graduated from Denfeld High School with the class of 1955.
Carol married Jerry Plummer in Duluth on November 3, 1956. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage prior to Jerry’s passing in 2016.
Carol and Jerry owned the former Devil’s Inn Tavern in the 70’s where many good times were had. Carol was active in the Superior Speedway and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
Carol enjoyed sewing and crafting and was always in search of a new project to tackle. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Carol will be missed by all who knew her as she was always in search of a fun time.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sons-in-law’s Scott Buttrick and Scott (Putz) Wick.
Carol is survived by her four children, Jerry (Lori) Plummer, Linnae (Mark) Currie, Penny Wick and Craig (Lynn) Plummer, sister Claudia Ellwood; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A private family service will take place where Carol will reunite with Jerry at the Greenwood Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday April 13th from 2:00 to 5:00 at Borders Sports Bar & Grill, 3028 E Highway 105, Superior, WI. 54880
