Obituary of Gary Lee Dickey

Gary Lee Dickey, age 68, passed away on February 15, 2024 in Duluth.  He was born March 3, 1955 to Kenneth Dickey and Daisy (Clark).

He attended Brown High in Sturgis and then entered the US Armed Services Army and the National Guard.  Gary spent over a decade at Advanced Awning Designs in Cloquet, following his military life.

Gary was Nascar’s biggest fan, never missed a race on Sunday.  He enjoyed tinkering with cars and especially loved solving puzzles and putting things together.  Gary loved all of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dickey and his grandson, Tylan Morefield.

Gary is survived by his mother, Daisy; three siblings, Terri Talley, Mary (Neil) Kopp, Jerry (Celo) Dickey; children, Chris Dickey, Joshua (Samantha) Dickey, Tyler Dickey, Corden Drift, Ethan Dickey, Joslyn Dickey; multiple step-children; grandchildren, Mason Dickey, Ava Dickey, Kinlee Dickey, James Pfuhl, Felix Azalea, Hailie Jade, William Morefield III, Logan Lilliberg and Spencer Pfuhl.

A private Celebration of Life was held with his family and friends.
