Obituary of Henry Webster
Henry "Skip" Webster Jr., our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative, and friend, age 69, passed away peacefully in his home on May 21, surrounded by the love of his family and friends, following a courageous 17-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend; he had a passion for life and lived every day to the fullest. He was a graduate of Minnetonka High School and the University of Minnesota. During his youth he was an Eagle Scout and was the rhythm guitarist for the Yettimen. He left a budding career with the NW National Bank and joined his father (Henry) at Webster Building Products in 1973. He put his heart and soul into this successful endeavor for over 25 years. He enjoyed athletic competition, both as a participant and a spectator. He was especially proud of his years spent as a Ski Jammers ski instructor for thousands of kids. An avid outdoorsman, he treasured the days spent with his father and brothers duck hunting. He was a world traveler and worked onsite at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church mission projects in Russia and Africa. He was preceded in death by his father Henry, mother Joyce, and first wife Julie. He will be deeply missed by his wife Juanita; daughter Emily and husband Brian Alexander, grandchildren Tessa and Greta; daughter Robin and husband Ryan Carter, grandchildren Ella and Dylan; daughter Sarah and husband Todd Bentley, grandchildren Natalie, Julia, and William; daughter Ashley Smith; daughter Marissa Smith and fiancé Rocco Docimo; brother George and wife Barbara; sister Joy and husband Matthew; brother Charles and wife Ann.
