Obituary of Lawrence (Larry) Cohoes

Lawrence (Larry) Cohoes was born May 21, 1957, in St. Paul to Gordon W. and Ruth Cohoes. He passed away late February, 2024.

Larry grew up in Inver Grove Heights and graduated in 1975 from Simley High School. Larry was a long-time St. Paul public servant: he worked for the Fire Department, library and St. Paul College. He enjoyed biking, bowling and watching films from the Golden Age of Hollywood. In addition, he was a life-long Twins fan.

He was a gentle soul, always ready to help and be kind.

He is fondly remembered by his siblings: David; Carol; James, and by his many nieces and nephews and friends.

Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Minnesota. A celebration in remembrance of his life will be held at a later date.
