Sylvia (Holtan) Johnson

Sylvia died peacefully at her home on February 24, 2024 of natural causes. Sylvia was born February 22nd, 1932. She was selfless in her words and actions her entire life. She provided a family gathering place for every holiday, birthday, shower, or any other celebration. She was “Nana” to her grandchildren and embodied the care-givers heart throughout her life. We are comforted to know that she we will be welcomed home due to her strong relationship with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Donald, her brother Burt (Sheila) Holtan and sister Millie Re. She is survived by sisters Julie (Hugh) Van Hatten, Alma (Jim) Gulbraa, Dotty (Rich) Bieurance, Brother Dave (Lavonne) Holtan, Lenny (Joe) Lewis, Gloria (Denny) Friske, and Linda (Ron) Geslin. Her son Michael, daughters Julie (Brian) Beguhl, and Michelle (Jerry) Hayes. She was so proud of all of her grandchildren Jacob, Maija, Alexa, Maija (Nate), and Leo (Beguhl) and Julia, Melaina, Joey, Nate, Chloe, Charlotte, and Elijah (Hayes). Great grandchildren Cohen, Jasmine, and Noa. Also, numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.

Celebration of Life will be Monday, March 4th,2024 at North Heights Chapel, 1700 West Highway 96, Arden Hills with a visitation at 5:00 pm. and service at 6:00 pm. Reception to follow.
