Obituary of Marie Antoinette Sladky

Marie Antoinette Sladky passed away peacefully on May 24, 2016, at Benedictine Health Center Marywood. She was born June 21, 1927, in Superior, but lived many years on Park Point in Duluth, Minn. She retired from the University of Minnesota after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Clara Sladky and sister Joanne Ullan. Marie is survived by one sister Judd Scritsmier, from Ariz., and many nieces and nephews. Marie was a very thoughtful and giving person who will be missed. Special thanks to all of the caring nurses at the Marywood facility and to St. Mary's hospice. Graveside service for family and friends: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11 at Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
