Obituary of Jack D. Southwick
Jack D. Southwick, 73, of Duluth, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Solvay Hospice Center surrounded by family.
He was born on July 23, 1942, to Charles and Mildred Southwick and was a lifelong resident of Duluth.
Jack was a veteran of the Army National Guard, member of the Gary Community Board and was a supporter of the Teamsters Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred; and his brother, Roger.
Jack is survived by his loving partner of 26 years, Kathy Redenbaugh; his sister, Suzanne (Joel Johnson); children, Scott, of Minneapolis, Robert (Kate), of Duluth, Kim of Minneapolis; three grandchildren; Kathy's children Kim, Cheryl, Scott (Amy), and Todd (Darcy), all of Duluth; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; his lifelong friend Toz Thompson "Ollie"; and many other relatives and friends including Stanton Olson.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10 a.m. to 12 Noon Friday, June 10, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth.
