Obituary of Robert Herrmann
Robert Herrmann was born to Ervin and Betty Herrmann on October 24, 1964. He departed this earthly life on Monday, January 22, 2024.
He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1983. He worked at Silgan Container Corporation from approximately 1985-1998 where he sustained a severe back injury and had several back surgeries. He then started working for Walser Apple Valley car dealership in 1998, and from there went on to several other dealerships as a Finance Manager. He met Robin Denison in 1990 and married in 1991. They had their first and only child Chelsey in 1992. Robin and Bob Divorced in 2000 but remained lifelong friends. Bob never remarried but enjoyed his time with friends and family. He loved spending time with his daughter, going fishing, having bonfires, mini golfing and shopping. Bob also enjoyed golfing with friends and playing slot machines at Mystic Lake Casino.
In 2015, Bob became a grandfather to his first grandchild Sage. In 2019, Bob became a grandfather again to his grandson Wesley. Bob was a devoted and loving grandfather. He loved spending time with them and spoiling them every chance he got. He loved watching them play sports and cheering them on in everything they did. Around 2021 Bob was unable to continue working and had to collect disability due to his back injury in earlier years. Bob made friends wherever he went, he was always laughing and joking and knew how to light up a room. Bob leaves behind, his mother, Betty Kosse, siblings, Mike, Steve, and Terri, his daughter, Chelsey, Son-in-law, Philip and grandchildren, Sage and Wesely. He will forever be missed by many.
