Hello. My name is Jim Stark. Between the ages of about 5 and 12, Donnie Brown was most closest and dearest friend. We spent countless hours together, at PS6, in Ed Hartmann’s group and at Camp Wildwood, in Bridgeton, Maine. I was his parents’ grateful guest many, many weekends at the Plaza Beach Club on Long Island. We drifted apart in middle and high school, but he came to my wedding in September, 1968. Sad to say, we lost touch after that.
I am so, sorry to learn, more than five years after the fact, of his passing. My heart goes out to Bonnie, whom I remember as his “little” sister, and to the rest of his family, whom I never met.
