Obituary of Miles Kane Johnson
Miles Kane Johnson passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2024 at the age of 49. Born May 2, 1974 in Alexandria, MN to Paul Johnson and Patricia Stromenger. He grew up in Savage and graduated from Burnsville High School in 1992, later residing in Farmington. Miles loved working with his hands, starting his career in construction framing houses and eventually working his way up to Chief Building Official. He had a passion for fishing, golfing, skiing, anything with an engine, but enjoyed his family and friends most. He will be remembered for his kind heart, big smile, and zest for life. His greatest legacy was his son, they were best buds that went on countless adventures together. He taught us all the importance of laughter and having fun through his numerous practical jokes and one-liners. He is survived by wife of 19 years, Melanie; son Kashen age 8; parents; brother Luke; sister Amanda; nieces whom he adored; and many others who loved him. He will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey and his laugh will be missed by many. To honor Miles’ memory, we are holding a celebration of life planned for February 17, 2024 11am-3pm at the North 20, 12266 Bacardi Ave. W Rosemount, MN.
