Obituary of Mary Lou Chambers
MaryLou Novotny Chambers passed away peacefully Jan. 8, 2024 at her daughter Jody & Wayne Hill’s home in Saginaw, MN at the age of 90. She was surrounded by her 3 daughters and son-in-law.
She was born May 20, 1933 in Crosby, MN to John Albert Novotny and Nora Rosella Moen Novotny. Her mother Nora died when MaryLou was 4 years old. At the age of 5 she was raised by her father and stepmother Anna Christien Anderson Novotny.
MaryLou attended Crosby Ironton School. She was married to Allen Baxter Chambers June 17, 1950 in Crosby, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother, 2 brothers Albert Henry Novotny and John Nels Novotny, 2 grandsons Jason Adam Hill and Joshua Allen Hill.
She is survived by her daughters Alana (Barry) Aldridge of Ironton, Brenda (Dan) Potter of Ironton and Jody (Wayne) Hill of Saginaw. Grandchildren Shawn Aldridge, Stacy (Josh) Mae, Molly (Dan) Shrader, Travis Hill, Angie (Matt) Miller, Tiffany Hill, Gabriel (Michelle) Aldridge, 37 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved her flower gardens, watching birds, and her family very much. She was a Christian woman who loved the Lord, and we will see her again in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
