Obituary of Daniel Glenn Pierce

Daniel Glenn Pierce died on December  26, 2023. He was born on January 31, 1954 to Rollin and Opal (Work) Pierce.  He is survived by his wife Larraine, his daughters Johanna and Joyce Cotton, his step-daughter Emily Felland (Alex Olvera), grand-children Emmet, Ethan and Alex (Sissy) Olvera, his sister Michelle Reger (Scott),  his brother David, sisters-in-law Trudy, Dianne, and Terry Pierce, other extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Michael, Ronald,and William Pierce. 

Dan was a proud member of the United Steelworkers and American Legion Post 435. His life included a twenty-five year career at Thermo-King and a number of adventures best left to be discussed when his friends gather. A party to celebrate Dan's life is planned for Saturday, January 27th from 1 to 4 p.m. at VFW Post 5555 located at 6715 Lakeshore Drive South, Richfield, MN. Bring pictures and be prepared to share your favorite memories of Dan.
