Obituary of Jeffrey Allen Engle

Jeffrey Allen Engle, 70, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's, and is now free from this horrible disease and in the arms of our loving savior.

Born November 23,1953 - died December 29, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Elvina Engle. 

He is survived by his wife Diane, and 6 beautiful children Michael Orthun (Erin), Jina Forys (Mike), Bryan Orthun (Melissa), Joni Szybatka (Scott), Jessica Havlik (Nate), Jonathan Engle (Beth), sisters Jodee Bass (Gary) and Julie Ness (Tom), and his 10 amazing grandchildren that filled his life with such joy, Camden, Maci, Calla, Kami, Lexi, Bryce, Callan, Aiden, Allie and Emma.

A huge thank you to Brighton Hospice for their kind & compassionate care at his end of life, and the many friends that have helped us through this journey with their prayers, caring hearts, visits, and love. 

Jeffrey was an outgoing, "simple man" that loved the Lord, his family, many friends, fishing, bowling, pheasant hunting, and making people laugh!

His celebration of life will be Saturday, January 6, 2023 at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, 740 East Hayden Lake Road, Champlin, MN 55316.

Visitation from 10:00 - 11:00am, funeral service at 11:00 with a lunch to follow in the fellowship hall. 

We're also heading over to Willy McCoys in Champlin for a beer after to cheers Jeff's life and love of beer, and maybe tell a story or two!
