Obituary of Andrene Tuck

Andrene Tuck, age 90 of Minneapolis, MN passed away at home on December 9, 2023 with loved ones by her side. Andrene was born on July 20, 1933 to Helen and Earl Heinecke.

Andrene was raised in South Minneapolis with her parents who she loved dearly and was a devoted daughter.  Andrene was young at heart who kept many on their toes as well as herself.  She was intelligent, joyful, comical, quick-witted, smart, kind, unique, gracious, grand, sarcastic, sweet and beautiful.

Andrene married and had three children whom she loved very much.  Soon she was single and raised her children with help from her beloved parents, “Mimi” and “Bob”.

She was in the work world for most years but was determined to be her own boss and started her own business.  Andrene was successful at designing resumes, working for the court systems and providing other business services.

Andrene was always trying to better the world and herself by being involved with WAMM, AA, taking courses in shorthand, writing and photography.  She was active in the remodeling program “Spiff the Biffs” which restored the historic architecture structure on Lake Harriet, sang with the Choraliers group, was an avid swimmer and swimming aerobics instructor at the YMCA and loved to travel.  She was active and enjoyed life.    

Andrene made many wonderful memories with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by Carrie (Bruce), Mike (Julie), Gretchen, grandchildren Elliott, Annie (Omar), Jackie, Lewis, cousins Joyce and Carlene and many friends.
