Obituary of Winnifred “Wini” Mehrman

Mehrman, Winnifred “Wini” (nee Stubbs) Age 93, of St. Paul, born in Minneapolis at Swedish Hospital in 1923, passed away in her St. Paul home on June 6, 2016. The mother of 6 children, Wini has always been the heart, soul, and embodiment of true motherhood. Wini married Donald, a U.S. Marine, in 1945, in North Carolina; they raised their family in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Wini graduated Mound High School in 1940. Preceded in death by husband Donald, daughter Julie, parents Alice & Clifford, and siblings Elwyn, Carol, and Arley. Survived by brother Gerald (Rita); sons Gary and Mark (Linda); daughters Deb (Jim), Kathy (Dean), and Cindy (Gary); grandchildren John, Brian, Jill, Destiny, Hope, Carrie (Adam), James, Michael, Sarah, Jared, Rebekah, Kendra (Joe) and Melissa; multiple great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service Friday, June 10, 2016, at 11 AM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, MN 55435 (952-924-4100); visitation at 10 AM; reception at noon.
