Obituary of Jeanette Irene Fenne

Fenne, Jeanette (Jeannie) Irene born March 4th, 1934, passed away November 4th, 2023, at her home with her daughter Cathy by her side after battling cancer. Proceeded in death by husband Martin (Buddy) G. Fenne, parents Phillip Podvin, Gladys (Mycue) Bonn and Step-Father Joseph Bonn, siblings, Phillip Podvin Jr., Ronald Podvin, Dorothy Zappa and Charlotte Moen.

Survived by daughter Cathy (Tom), Fenne-Thornberg, Grandsons, Kyle and Cody Thornberg, Stepdaughter Linda Woolsey, brother in-law Ronald Fenne and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to St. Croix Hospice who helped with her care through her final days. Many thanks to family and friends who came to visit and to the residents and staff who showed much kindness at Walker Methodist.

Mom was the most loving and strongest woman I will ever know. She enjoyed traveling with me and Tom and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by so many.

Memorial Service will be November 29th, 2023, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, MN 55435. Visitation 1:30p.m., Service 2:00p.m., Luncheon to follow. Memorials preferred.
