Obituary of Cheryl Ann Schwartz

Cheryl Ann Schwartz (née Rothbauer) of St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2023.

Born on March 2, 1959, in St. Paul, Cheryl was a beacon of love, care, and unwavering strength throughout her life. Her passion for dogs led her to volunteer for numerous rescue organizations, offering a second chance to many furry friends. Those who visited her home were impressed by her gardens, as Cheryl had quite the green thumb, bringing life and beauty to everything she touched.

In her dedicated paralegal role, her commitment extended beyond the legal field, volunteering for "Wills for Heroes" and lending her expertise to those who serve and protect our community and country.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward "Eddie" Schwartz, and cherished mother of twin daughters, Deanna DeMay (Brad DeMay) and Shannon Welsh. Her joy multiplied as a devoted nana to Mark Runquist. Preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary and Richard Rothbauer, her brothers Daniel "Danny" and Edward "Peewee", and sister Linda; Cheryl leaves behind her brother James "Jim" and sister Tania.
 

A gathering to celebrate Cheryl's life will take place on Thursday, December 7th at Art House North - 793 Armstrong Ave W, St Paul, MN 55102.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, followed by a service starting at 6:30pm.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a favorite dog rescue organization in Cheryl's memory.


In celebrating Cheryl's life, we remember a woman of resilience and boundless love, whose legacy will continue to inspire all those who knew her.
