Obituary of Danny Richard Scheff

Scheff, Danny Richard 70, of Minneapolis passed away at the V.A. Medical Center on Thursday, October 12th. Most of the staff at the Veterans home had been with him the duration of his stay there and they all stated that his laughter and smiles were appreciated and infectious. Danny graduated from Fairmont High School in 1971, then joined the Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Dash, a minesweeper in Newport Rhode Island. He was a talented athlete in Fairmont and has passed that talent to his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Georgianna Scheff of Fairmont. He is survived by children, Danielle (Corey) Drevlow and Josh (Jessica) Scheff; siblings, David (Rita) Scheff, Diane Mitchell, Denise (Jon) Macziewski; grandchildren Sydney, Logan, Scarlett and Sayler, and many nieces and nephews. There will not be a funeral service arranged. Memorials can be mailed to the Martin County Veterans Memorial.
